CycleInstead confirms partner charity for epic bike tour

January 06, 2011 By: abi Category: News

I am delighted to announce that I will be cycling 15000 kilometres to raise money for The Scottish Association for Mental Health. SAMH is Scotland’s leading mental health charity and quite appropriately, their ambassador is the Olympic champion track cyclist, Sir Chris Hoy. Just click on their website for more details or click on the JustGiving button on the right hand side of this website to donate. Together, with your generosity, and the support of SAMH we can move forward to a better, healthier Scotland.

We all think. We all feel. But do we all help?
One in four people in Scotland will experience a mental health problem, and every day in Scotland two people die by suicide. Your support can help us be there for all of them. Every year SAMH provides over a million hours of support to people who need our help. Every week, we work with around 3,000 people in over 80 services and every day we campaign for better mental health. For more information visit
